I’m Rachel, a freelance Assistant Editor currently looking for work within scripted film and television. I have 5 1/2 years professional experience as an edit assistant and covered pretty every department in that time; DIT, Assistant Editor, Grade/Online/Conform Assistant, Quality Control and even dabbled in Online. I’ve been working on Avid for 8 years with Premiere and DaVinci close behind. I’ve always had the mindset of not allowing technical limitations to hinder my work so you’ll be in safe hands as I’ve encountered basically every Avid error message known to man and even if Avid themselves can’t fix it I probably already have a workaround.
